Some figures:
The ski region Radstadt/ Altenmarkt is part of one of the largest ski regions in the area. In practice that means: the skiing mountain that Altenmarkt and Radstadt share is situated at the entry to the Salzburg sports world, which, with is 320 kilometres of pistes, is a challenging weekly schedule even for the fittest skier. This, in turn, is part of the Amadé sports world. With its unbelievable 865 (!) kilometres of slope and more than 270 lifts it outshines every international skiing association. So that’s where we are...
Our latest project:
The building of the second part of the 8-seater cabin cableway Königslehen II has been completed. It can carry 2400 people per hour, and in the evening, sledgers can use it to avoid the exhausting ascent. This comfortable cabin train significantly shortens the journey – within only 9 minutes, you will be at an altitude of 1700 metres and ready to ski! From up here, the only way is down.
Our mountain:
The Radstadt or the Altenmarkt side – that’s the question. If you want to venture further: in Altenmarkt you can catch the fast ski bus to Zauchensee – and it’s free of course. 8 lifts and 34 kilometres of varied piste are what makes the Kemahdhöhe one of the most popular ski mountains – for beginners as well as pros of the piste.
Our promise:
Here, you can expect everything – but above all snow thanks to favourable climactic conditions (and snow canons), excellently prepared pistes, first class service and cosy ski lodges. Here you will get your money’s worth!
